Description:

Las Pumas Rescue Center and Sanctuary was founded in 1989 by Switzerland nationals, Werner Hagnauer and his wife Lilly Bodmer. Las Pumas is a place with 30 years of experience, and a long trajectory in the management of Costa Rican wildlife. In 2001, Lilly passed away, and Mr. Werner, along with some friends, decided to create the Hagnauer Foundation in her honor, which nowadays is the non-profit organization in charge of managing the Rescue Center and Sanctuary. In 2015, Mr. Werner passed away at 92 years old, leaving behind a big legacy for the conservation of the wildlife in our country.

 

Includes: *Sanitation Protocol. Transportation, bilingual Tour Guide, entrance to “Las Pumas” rescue center, entrance to Llanos del Cortes waterfall. 

Please wear: Shorts, T-shirt, Tennis shoes. 

Please bring: Sunscreen, hat, mosquito repellent, and camera.

 

Schedule: 

6:40-7:45 am             Pick up time from hotels 

9:00 am                      at Las Pumas Rescue Center

10:30 am                    at Llanos del Cortes

12:30 pm                    Back at the hotels
